Description nickbeare 2009-08-27 17:06:55 UTC
After using NetBeans for about 2 years, we are about to drop it in favour of eclipse because there is no SWT designer
in NetBeans (Boss has decreed :-( ). We have a lot of historic applications (for toughbooks, PDA's, etc) which use the
SWT framework. Whether SWT is a 'pure' way of going about things is irrelevant.

I don't think that we will ever support non-standard IBM-proprietary technology like SWT. But even if we will then it
will have to be a completely different plug-in than current GUI builder that is based on Swing.
