Links are broken in description of available updates. For example link that looks like: http://wiki.netbeans.org/NetBeans6.7PatchesInfo is actually opened as http://wiki.netbeans.orgnetbeans6.7patchesinfo/ on Ubuntu 9.10 - note that there is not only missing slash, but also the wrong case that doesn't allow to load the proper page even if you insert the slash.
Do you use OpenJDK or Sun`s one ? Please open Help->About in the menu, copy the info about NB (version, system, userdir, etc) and put it here. Thanks.
Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.7 (Build 200906251104) Java: 1.6.0_0; OpenJDK Client VM 14.0-b16 System: Linux version 2.6.31-6-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb) BTW, in installed plugins tab links are ok. As there are no more updates for my system, I can't say for sure if is fixed for updates tab.
Robert, please check tools that are used for catalog administration. I`ve downloaded (by hand) the 6.7 stable catalog and see that the link is broken there http://updates.netbeans.org/netbeans/updates/6.7/uc/final/stable/catalog.xml I see there the following parts: OpenIDE-Module-Long-Description="For the list of included fixed bugs please check <A HREF="http:// wiki.netbeans.orgNetBeans6.7PatchesInfo">http://wiki.netbeans.org/NetBeans6.7PatchesInfo</A>. <BR> <BR> ........" I haven`t checked other catalogs (6.7 beta, 6.7 thirdparty, older releases...) for the same issue. I hope you`ll check them by yourself :)
I'm looking into it, it really seems to be a bug in UC admin tools.
This is not UC admin tools problem. Catalog generated by these tools contains exactly the same info that is stored in the module NBMs. NBMs of patched modules contains incorrect URL, at lease / is missing there. I'm re-assigning the issue to sustaining
Thank you for reporting of this issue. The sustaining team is aware of that problem and we are fixing the URL in every newly updated NBMs. However we are not going to fix the issue in NBMs retrospectively. The desired wiki page is available at http://wiki.netbeans.org/NetBeans6.7PatchesInfo .
