Description littleli 2009-07-27 13:43:20 UTC
Editing property files is pain in case one would like to have property files in editor in UTF-8 or different encoding
over ISO-8859-1 with escaping. Precisely one would like to have different encoding in development (when editing) and
when project is packaged/deployed on server. Current behaviour prevents me from using netbeans for localization purpose.
Concurrent IDEs have choices Eclipse has Propeditor and IDEA has bundled setting to use native over project set
encoding.

I think this issue is related to #75906: http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=75906

Cheers
