I am beginning to use NetBeans instead of Eclipse. One of the features NetBeans lacks that I miss from Eclipse is the ability to Copy & Paste a file (or group of files) to (or from) the IDE's Projects/Files views from (or to) the local file system. I have found the "Explore Path..." context menu option of the "Path Tools" plugin to help somewhat (and I really think this feature should be integrated into NetBeans by default, and it should also work on files instead of just folders), but it really doesn't solve my main problem. I wish to be able to highlight a file (or a group of files), copy them, and paste them from the IDE to the local file system and/or vice-versa. Drag-and-drop functionality should also probably work, but is less of a priority for me. Also, please consider integrating (and enhancing) some of the features from the Path Tools plugin. Specifically "Explore Path...", which should appear on the context menu for folders *and* files. Thank you.
