NetBeans 3.3 Beta1: After a compile, the "Next Error" shortcut (currently Alt-F10) takes me to the second error! I assume that either one of two things is broken here: - the editor and output window should display the first error right away as it is generated, or - the first Alt-F10 should bring you to the first error. As it is now, I can get to the first error via shortcuts if I do "Next Error" (Alt-F10) folloed by "Previous Error" (Alt+Shift-F10).
sorry -- previous error is really Ctrl-Alt-F10 (don't ask me why!)
On my Solaris box the Alt+F10 maximize app window ;-( good job UI ;-) When reconfigured - can confirm this issue. Passing to Ales.
Just updating the subcomponent.
Updating the qa-contact.
> On my Solaris box the Alt+F10 maximize app window ;-( good job UI ;-) please file a separate bug, ui subcategory, but don't assign it to UI team (they don't have resource to work on it now)
First bug is *current* after compiling, so to go into Editor you simply should press Enter. Alt-F10 will go to next=second error. However, there was other bug - after compiling, output window should be positioned on the first error. This bug I just fixed into main trunk.
I entered the Alt-F10 (and the Ctrl-Alt-F10 on Linux) bug as bug 16931.
