This concerns creating makefile-based projects.
I always use simple mode and really enjoy it.
But it lacks the ability to pass a parameter to configure script. 
In some situations it's quite necessary (misc. --with*, --enable*, --disable* options)

I believe switching to advance mode is too much for this.

Ideally, IDE could parse ./configure --help, and present it to user somehow.
