Description Petr Dvorak 2009-07-02 14:18:11 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200907020200)
Java: 1.6.0_13; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.3-b02
System: Linux version 2.6.28-11-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb)

Subjectively, I believe that the current UI for the new issue form looks little too overcomplicated. There are several
things that can be done to enhance it:

- Status/Resolution fields are not needed there at all -> can be removed
- certain fields are more important (are more often edited) than the others - it would be nice to reflect this
importance in the form by proper placement of the fields (grouping) and hide the least important fields in the
collapsible box
     - very important: Product, Component, Priority, Severity, Summary, Description
     - normally important: Version, Platform, OS, Assigned to, CC
     - not too important: Depends On, Blocks, URL, Keywords

Just a quick note - Generally agreed, I have it on my radar and will have a look at it later, but now I'm just too busy.

Reassigning for implementation.
