[ JDK VERSION : 1.6.* ]

Java Platform contains \jdk1.6.0_03\src\j2se\src\share\classes\, but
GoTo Source failed with "missing source".

IMHO, referring correct classpath is important --> P2.

How did you set up this java platform in the IDE? If you look in Tools -> Java Platforms does the platform point to the
sources folder you mentioned?

When I say, that
   "Java Platform contains \jdk1.6.0_03\src\j2se\src\share\classes\"
I mean exactly that. ;-)

I have tested with 6.7 final. If you restart NetBeans between adding the source to the platform and trying to jump to
the class it works.

I have also tested in the trunk --> there it works as expected ==> marking as fixed in 6.8.
