Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.7 RC2 (Build 200906040112)
Java: 1.6.0_13; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.3-b02
System: Linux version 2.6.24-23-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb)

Assign return value to new variable hint deletes empty lines just before the statement where is hint applied.

Steps to reproduce:
1) have a code:
        System.out.println("");
        
        System.getProperties();

2) apply the hint at line 3
-> the empty line at line 2 is deleted

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
