Hi, I noticed that using Dark Room theme in Ubuntu 9.04, some forms present font colors almost unreadable. Moreover in Netbeans is difficult to distinguish disabled voices in menus. I attach sample images. I attach a Firefox menu image too, to show how other softwares resolve the disabled menu voices problem. My system: Ubuntu 9.04 (Gnome 2.26.1) Dark Room Theme Netbeans 6.7 RC1 OpenJDK 6b14-1.4.1-0ubuntu7 Thanks for you great work. Filippo Mariotti

We don't set font color in menu - it is standard swing color, so I'm afraid we cannot do much about this. I'm mot sure if we can setup color in output window -> reassigning to proper component
Darkroom theme is not available in the Ubuntu 10.10. I've tested Output Window in High Contrast Inverse, which have dark blue background. And Output Window displays the output correctly. It's readable well. The Editor Hints options are also displayed correctly and readable. But the menus are slightly corrupted in the same way as in the screenshot.
i tried 'high contrast inverse' theme with jdk 1.6.0_24 and the menus seem fine to me. please reopen if you still have problems with gnome l&f in netbeans. but first please compare with the looks of swingset demo application (in your jdk folder)
