I can create a new bug but the list of bugs is not updated (as well as their count).

what list? the one in the kenai dashboard, or the one in the find issues window?

Don't know how to reproduce it - the list was refreshed for me (both lists)...

happened again to me yesterday. Some fix. hg commit and I set it to update the bug #29 on push. another fix. another
commit (no bug update). hg push and nothing was updated.

BTW: there was short outage of the kenai server before though the connection worked well (IDE read the live data from JIRA).

OK, I can reproduce it.

1. Open a Kenai project that uses Jira
2. Submit a new bug
-> bug is submitted but you have to refresh the list of all issues manually in order to refresh it + the number in the
Kenai dashboard does not update too

this one should have been fixed in scope of #174367

please note that the described problem still might be visible until http://kenai.com/jira/browse/KENAI-1919 gets fixed
