looks like a bug in RequestProcessor, pls evaluate
Request processor is not using Pattern at all. What makes you believe there is a bug in RequestProcessor then?
Looking at the code, this message means that the Runnable sent to the post method by org.netbeans.modules.tasklist.impl.TaskManagerImpl.startLoading(TaskManagerImpl.java:267) caused StackOverflowError. There is not much to do about that in RequestProcessor.
the request processor task the exception originated from doesn't use any regular expressions. it's likely that the exception was thrown from indexing infrastructure (query support). any, we need some steps to reproduce
closing - please reopen if reproducible in recent builds, thanks
