Description Martin Schovanek 2001-10-11 08:04:35 UTC
[Linux, JDK1.3.1, NB Build 200110100100]

Steps to reproduce:
===================
1) uninstall XML tree editing support
2) expand XML or DTD document node in Explorer

The nodes have children nodes although XML Tree Edit module is uninstalled.
Some of the children nodes have default (blank) icon.

Classes from Tree Edit module remain loaded, although this
module was uninstalled. Appropriate DataNode should be revalidate
(because of cookies, looks, ...).

Maybe, that this could be resolved at Look's side -- listen on
available Looks - when change, then revalidate.

Target milestone -> 3.3.1.

LookNode unfortunately does not listen on available looks for given
represented object. It needs to be fixed at LookNode side.
Comment 6 Martin Schovanek 2002-01-22 11:58:50 UTC
I started IDE with disbaled XML Tree Editor and looks.
Then I enabled the XML Tree Editor the Children nodes
don't appear.

Then I restarted the XML Tree Editor and XML Core the
Children nodes appear.

I do not know how to cleanly solve it. I do not want to fix it. I do
not expext user will often enable/disable Tree Editor module (I think
just once). However disgusting, workaround exists -- restart IDE.
Comment 8 Martin Schovanek 2002-06-07 13:48:43 UTC

Comment 10 _ lkramolis 2002-06-07 15:21:39 UTC
Reassigned to Petr who will try to fix it LATER. I don't want to fix
it, I think it does not make sense.
