In the keystore configuration panel it allows you to BOTH set an alias AND to set an alias selector class.

If you use one, should the other then be disabled?

Or if you can set them both simultaneously, what happens (e.g., try static selector first, if fails try selector class
--- or vice versa)

We should perhaps implement the same as we have on client side - to have a combo which would allow you to choose the configuration.
