I am running NB on japanese locale using pseudolocale files.
- start Netbeans 6.7 beta
- see start page
- links with multibytes are not displayed correctly, see attached image

I'm not seeing this issue on the native Japanese Ubuntu on my environment.

It looks the default desktop fonts are strange. How about installing
the following fonts into your system and change the Desktop fonts to
VL Gothic?

Thanks for confirming this. It was strange behaviour of my Ubuntu environemt.
