The TrustStore is NOT enabled when not selecting "Use developer default"
It should be for these profiles (I think - please check with Kumar
and Jiandong):

  Mutual Certificates,
  Endorsing,
  SAML Sender Vouches with Certificates,
  SAML Holder of Key,
  STS Issued Token,
  STS Issued Token with Service Cert,
  STS Endorsing,
  STS Supporting
