Description thisguy 2009-04-10 21:40:50 UTC
Version 6.5.1 on Mac, when connecting to a database:
1) password pop-up dialog doesn't
2) Database Explorer Window doesn't show up
--
From the Services panel
- selecting MySql ( with database started )
- displaying databases
- right-click on a database
- Popup gives choices: Connect... or Delete
- select Connect
   Connect appears to do nothing...

This seems to be related to the 6.5.1 update.
Getting database Explorer window in 6.5 worked.

I'm going to reproduce this problem. By description looks to be specific in NB6.5.1, not valid in NB6.7. IMHO we need to
find out any workaround how to solve it in NB6.5.1 if possible.

Trying Netbeans 6.5, 6.5.1 and 6.7 M3, problem with all releases.
- First try, Connect... dialog appears with a progress bar, then disappears
- Next trys, Connect dialog doesn't appear.

The connect db dialog doesn't appear or flashes past.
However, clicking on the jdbc connections under the 'Drivers" folder does show your database metadata.

I don't believe this is a bug?
