I tried to create a new maven enterprise project.  However on the first page of the wizard I get the message "Maven 2.09
is too old, version 2.07 or newer is needed."

I have maven installed in /lusr/local on my Mac, using the binary zip from the maven website.

is a duplicate of #160086, fixed in http://hg.netbeans.org/main/rev/8a262251b0ae
for some reason it didn't arrive yet into the main-golden repository, I'm not able to influence when it arrives there.
Oo instead of using the official daily builds, try the
http://deadlock.netbeans.org/hudson/job/trunk/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/nbbuild/dist/zip/ which runs on top of the
main repository.
