Description radekg 2009-02-25 01:27:48 UTC
Netbeans 6.5 was running on second monitor and was closed. I assume it saved its windows positions somewhere. I then
logged out of my gnome, disconnected external monitor and logged in again. That restarted X server so I was running
single monitor only. When starting Netbeans it fails and quits without any error message.

Could you please provide NetBeans log after the failure?

Thanks

I failed. It appears on the other desktop. That would explain why there is nothing in logs. Sorry for trouble. False
alarm :) PLease close or whatever the status should be.

OK. Closing as invalid.

Sorry --- but I think this IS a bug.

When starting the app don't put the window outside the viewable screen area.

Attach 2nd monitor.
Move IDE window to second monitor.
Shut down Netbeans
Remove Monitor (in my case I had Restarted PC etc.)
Restart Netbeans
Its on the taskbar -- but window is effectively 'invisible'.

Workaround: Ctrl-Space to move it back over.

Please provide OS, JDK and NetBeans version info and reopen, thanks.
