I am unable to reach the plugins.netbeans.org site. I noticed it while trying to check for updates from within the IDE,
but I also tried using my Web browser and telnetting to port 80.  I am in St. Louis USA, but this is not a local problem
--  Fabrizio Giudici is in Northern Italy and also could not reach it.

There was a server outage over the Saturday, the service is back now.
