In netbeans 6.1 ,there was a advanced setting option that could change the popup document window size but that setting was missing in netbeans 6.5 . From netbeans wiki, it said it can be set through other options ,but I can't find where can the user set the popup window size and font .the popup window seems to use the editor font settings ,they're too big for me. So my question is :How to set popup window size and window font in netbean 6.5 ? And I also want to ask you developers ,do netbeans have an internal browser surpport ? and will it be available in the future releases ?
You can set NetBeans font size using --fontsize switch. See http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqFontSize . Is that what you needed? Please reopen and switch component to platform/Window System if not, hopefully they will know more. There is no internal browser support in NetBeans. There is a plan to do it for future releases, but it's not known when it will be done.
Thanks ,using --fontsize switch ? that's not what I want , I just want the popup windows font size could be smaller. It's annoying when someone got a small screen and see huge popup window scatter around. See what eclipse does , it's popup window neat and clean. Netbeans popup window use a global font setting ,it's a design flaw.
Still waiting for positive solutions, Can I modify netbeans source code to achieve smaller font size and menu size in popup window?
What do you mean? Could you attach screenshot? How is popup window invoked?
Without exact info what popup window you mean I cannot handle this.
I do not see such option in 6.0.1. Which one do you mean? I don't think we allowed this change. Or did we? Changing to enhancement.
