1) Go to Versioning>CVS>Checkout
2) In step 2 of checkout, for the branch field, there is an option to browse the branch. Select Browse. There is a 
popup where the branch can be selected. Here it does not display all the branches. It displays a few branches 
sometimes. Sometimes none of the branches are displayed. It gives inconsistent results.
