I have upgraded from NetBeans 6.1 to NetBeans 6.5 on my laptop which is running under Windows Vista Home Premium. And I cannot set a line breakpoint in JAVA code by clicking in the left margin or using <ctrl>-f8. Under NetBeans 6.1 it works fine. What do I wrong? Is there a setting under NetBeans 6.5 which is wrong? I have tried to reinstall NetBeans 6.5 but it did not solve the problem.
We did not reproduce a problem in this area. Can you please try to run NetBeans with a fresh user-dir? (Specify a different netbeans_default_userdir in netbeans.conf)? Does a restart of NetBeans 6.5 help? Does switching of files in Editor help?
A restart did not help. But your suggestion of a fresh user-dir did help. Does this mean that one or more files in the user-dir are corrupted in some way??
The issue was fixed by cleaning userdir and there is no further information for long time - INVALID. We can't do anything in this case. Reporter, please add requested information and reopen issue. Thanks in advance.
