I have added the JDK 1.6 Javadoc ZIP bundle from the Java platforms dialog box. However the IDE does not display the
javadoc for the standard classes such as System.out showing "cannot perform Show Javadoc here" or sometimes not giving
any message. I have also tried restarting the IDE but the problem still persists.

Does your project use the java platform with defined javadoc? 
Can you please attach content of {userdir}/config/Services/org-netbeans-api-java-Platform folder.

Cannot reproduce. No additional info provided for more than a month -> closing as WORKSFORME.

tirthankar, please reopen if you are experiencing this problem in later builds. Add as much info as possible (steps to
reproduce, content of the userdir - see previous comment, etc.)
