This is probably no quite like issues 144152 and 147381 as no exception is thrown. Instead attempts to add the weblogic server are met with a red message "Please enter a valid BEA WebLogic Server 9/10 installation directory" NetBeans IDE 6.5 (Build 200811100001) A brief search of the bug list shows that this has been fixed [issue 144152, so this is a regression?]. A search of the mailing list archives shows a common work-around. I will try the work-around next, but I would prefer things to woark as documented
NB 6.5 supports only WebLogic 9 or 10. Could you clarify what version of Weblogic server you tried to add. In the Summary field, you mentioned Weblogic 1.3 which confused me.
Sorry - that was the 10.3 server, as downloaded as part of the JDeveloper bundle
I'm able to add WebLogic 10 with NB 7.0 development build. This is what I entered for Server Location field: <BEA_HOME>\wlserver_10.x, e.g, c:\bea\wlserver_10.0. What did you enter for this the server location?
I'm able to add Oracle WLS 10.3, BUT the IDE complains, that Weblogic is only supported, when running on JDK 5. WLS 10.3 supports JDK 6.
