Description emmanuel 2001-09-14 23:44:08 UTC
Please see, http://openide.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=15057.

Using 0913, XMLSupportModule.jar somehow influences the target directory
feature when compiling.

Steps to reproduce;
1. When target directory set, compiling works 100%.
2. Add XMLSupportModule.Jar to NB, target directory does not work anymore.
3. Disable XMLSupportModule.
4. Delete its settings in options - must be done.
5. Stop NB.
6. Delete XMLSupportModule.jar from ...\modules.
7. Start NB, and viola, target directory works 100%.

Could this please be corrected.

Kind regards
Emmanuel

I do not know why XML support module cause those problems of
compilation, but there is no development of XMLSupportModule.jar and
it will be obsolete. Has no support from author.

Its functionality is merged to set of new XML modules, which are
supported and which will be released in production builds of NetBeans.

I hope, no one of these new modules cause problems like
that old one. I am not sure it will be fixed. May be closed because of
set of new modules.

Setting to WONTFIX as the issue is related to original Sandeep's XML
support module that is superseded by new XML module set. Do you agree?
