It will be very powerful if the diagrams can be exported/printed as images or/and vector images or/and PS.

it's possible to print diagram and also possible to export as bitmap image.
support for vector formats is a good enhancement.

Export to SVG would also be acceptable, in terms of producing high-quality output - and I think it's relatively
straightforward, to get a graphics context that will allow "drawing" to SVG?
