This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
In my project I've marked several files with "do not compile" and "do not execute". The infoline in the main window informs me about this several times which is ok but becomes very fast uncomfortable, because I start up Netbeans with the switch -J-Dnetbeans.windows.small_main_window=true and -fontsize 13 in the ide.cfg. So when NB wants to show its infos the infoline becomes very long and squeezes the menus so that they become hard to read. Also when compiling a jar-file NB also shows this information instead of the compiling-status so I'm always unshure of what NB is currently doing. Maybe this type of information is better shown in the output-window.

Eval: A part of enhancement will be solved by fix of issue 19910. The rest is too resources-consuming I don't encourage implement it.
