nb python 178 build

I tried to modify PYTHONPATH for my project and added a huge folder. Now it scans everything and I cannot cancel this
scan. I can only kill the IDE. I mean kill not quit because of (non-timing?) attempt to get a ClassIndexManager write
lock during shutdown.

Not sure it is still relevant with the current version. Closing this as old bug. If this is still a thing, please reopen and accept my apologies.
