Netbeans v6.5 RC2 running with the Nimbus Look&Feel on Java 1.6 update 10 (1st version to feature Nimbus LAF): "netbeans --laf Nimbus" When you click in the main menu "Help" / "Help Contents", the fontsize of the help texts (in the right content pane) is too small, maybe 6 or so points. The fontsize in the left "contents / search" pane of the help window is good. With other LAFs (for example "--laf Metal") the fontsize of the help texts is good. For all LAFs the NB start parameter "--fontsize" is being ignored for the right pane of the help window. So, using "--fontsize 12" (or 13) doesn't increase the size of the help texts' font. I have tested this on Windows XP but not on other OS' so far.
I guess there might be some kind of clash between Limbus and JavaHelp somehow. Marek, can you evaluate?
Content is rendered as html and font size is controled by ide.css. I do not know why it has different sizes (base font size) for different L&Fs. It is bigger for Metal then smaller for GTK and then even smaller for Nimbus. I will look at sample. Not sure if it is Javahelp or Swing problem.
Reassigning to the new "core/help system" owner obarbashov.
