This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
[ BUILD # : 200810240201 ] [ JDK VERSION : other ] If a read-only file is opened, then no changes can't be made to the file in the editor. But if keys are pressed on such a file, the Redo icon in the toolbar gets activated. Also, on pressing this button nothing happens. It is a minor annoyance, but should not be activated since no undo was done on the file. Another sidenote to this is that when the delete key is pressed on a read-only file, it starts to scroll forward in the code, which is another odd behavior ;-)
Reproducible in a dev build.
