When a debugee is not started ("Cannot start process"), an exception is
displayed. I think that this should be handled somehow, e.g. some better error
message should be displayed telling the user what's wrong.

There's not enough information to reproduce. Where is the exception thrown from?
How can I reproduce this?

Sorry, I do not remember what exception I meant. I filed this bug report almost
5 years ago.
