Hello there,
there is an option: View -> Show Versioning Labels in NetBeans which is very very important, as it would be easy to
commit/update from wrong branch/tag without it. The problem is that the label is not shown on root node of project in
'Projects' or 'Files' views. One has to open a node, where labels are on to see branch/tag info.

p.s.
tested with Subversion module.
