-install "Java" configuration from http://bits.netbeans.org/download/trunk/nightly/latest/ and install all servers
(GF-v2, GF-v3 and Tomcat)
-start the IDE
-switch to services window
-expand DB node

=> see attached screenshot

Noticed that you have to install multiple GFs for this to happen.  But it's still probably a timing issue.

I have a suspicion this issue is related to issue 148211
