I have tried to change several times target property of external compiler and compile (and clean) some sources (using external compiler). Classes are not always compiled into selected target directory.
this bug also affects RMI Stub Compiler
OK, please can you provide me a step-by-step reproduction recipe from a clean user installation of Forte/NetBeans ? I can't seem to reproduce it; thanks.
it may be indirectly caused by http://core.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=14795 However, I can't reproduce it with today's sources.
Works for me -- please if you encounter anything suspicious and reproducible, backup user config and then try to reproduce it from a clean install.
Netbeans 3.4 is not able to use the target property My files are always targeted to Source Directory(Default if Target is not found) Is there are resolution and is it verified?
None, what do you mean "Netbeans 3.4 is not able to use the target property"? You set the target property to particular directory, but your files are still compiled into source directory?
I have just re-checked the issue with fresh dev trunk sources - and it seems to work properly.
Resolved for 3.3.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
