Description Adam Sotona 2001-08-24 11:07:26 UTC
I have tried to change several times target property of external compiler and
compile (and clean) some sources (using external compiler).

Classes are not always compiled into selected target directory.
Comment 1 Adam Sotona 2001-08-24 11:18:36 UTC
this bug also affects RMI Stub Compiler
Comment 2 Svata Dedic 2001-08-27 14:58:33 UTC
OK, please can you provide me a step-by-step reproduction recipe
from a clean user installation of Forte/NetBeans ? I can't seem to
reproduce it; thanks.
Comment 3 Martin Ryzl 2001-08-27 15:06:49 UTC
it may be indirectly caused by http://core.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=14795
However, I can't reproduce it with today's sources.
Comment 4 Svata Dedic 2001-08-28 12:43:38 UTC
Works for me -- please if you encounter anything suspicious and
reproducible, backup user config and then try to reproduce it from a
clean install.

Netbeans 3.4 is not able to use the target property
My files are always targeted to Source Directory(Default
if Target is not found)

Is there are resolution and is it verified?
Comment 6 Jan Becicka 2003-01-03 12:45:45 UTC
None, what do you mean "Netbeans 3.4 is not
able to use the target property"?

You set the target property to particular
directory, but your files are still compiled
into source directory?
Comment 7 Svata Dedic 2003-01-07 14:16:35 UTC
I have just re-checked the issue with fresh dev trunk sources - and it
seems to work properly.
