According to the Permanent UI specification for NB IDE [1] there are following problems with *Window > Other* menu of the NB IDE 1, "Ruby Shell" menu item is missing in the IDE Please, fix it or follow the UI Review process [2] to get the changes approved [1] http://wiki.netbeans.org/MainMenu [2] http://wiki.netbeans.org/UIReviewProcess
So, Jano could you note the "Ruby Test Results" menu item in the spec. It is there for ages, its purpose is obvious. Or should I do it? Thanks.
Oops, copy-pasted typo. I meant 's/Ruby Test Results/Ruby Shell' in this issue.
Sorry, ignore previous lines. The fact is that "Window | Other | Ruby Shell" item is really missing and it is on purpose. In 6.5. it is not there anymore since it has moved to the Ruby Projects' context menu. So I guess that the right fix here is to just remove: Ruby Shell R line from specification.
I've fixed the UI Spec. Jano please reopen if you disagree for some reason. Thanks. http://wiki.netbeans.org/Diff.jsp?page=MainMenu&r1=81&r2=80
