Steps to reproduce: 
1) Go to Services explorer > Databases
2) Then connect to any given (default) database (here i am connecting to APP)
3) Open the customer table in the Services explorer and right click on that table and select View Data
4) The SQL Query Editor should execute the query and show the result out put BUT it is not executed and is not show 

If you examine the output windows it does'nt show shou that the query executed but this same steps are working well in
the 6.1
