I am running NetBeans 6.5 Beta (Java SE 1.6.0_07) and when the context menu for the web project (right click on the web project) is enabled (to deploy for example). ON a dual core 2 GHZ laptop, it took so long I thought it was a deadlock. It seems to be beyond the context menu however as selecting the project node causes the same behavior, very sluggish response. Even after disabling many of the modules likely participating in the web project (JSF ...), the menu is still slow although not as slow as with all the modules turned on.
could you generate a thread dump and attach it to this issue?
Created attachment 68732 [details] stack trace during slow performance
This was after disabling some of the modules and with a large web project and 15 java projects packaged in the web module. This is much slower than 6.1.
I believe this is a duplicate of issue 145464. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 145464 ***
