Forte for Java 3.0 CE FCS (build #010814) with JDK 1.3.1 on Windows, Solaris, Red Hat Linux Description: ========== There are specific circumstances under which textfield of "Refresh Period" settings gets resized to the minimal size and therefore becomes unusable for user. This happens when user creates new basic variable representing file or folder and uses "Browse..." button for setting it. Steps to reproduce: ================ 1. Invoke "Versioning | Mount Generic Version Control System..." item of the main menu. 2. Switch to "Advanced" tab of the customizer and push "Edit Variables..." button. 3. Right click on "Basic" node and select "New Variable" and type in e.g. MyFile and click "OK". 4. Expand "Basic" node, click on "MyFile" node and set "Variable is a local file" property to "True". 5. Close "Variable Editor" using "OK" button and switch back to "Profile" tab of the customizer. 6. Note that there is value "15000" visible in "Refresh Period" textfield. 7. Click on "Browse..." next to "MyFile" textfield, select arbitrary file and push "Select" button. 8. Verify that size of "Refresh Period" textfield was minimized and "15000" is not visible.

This is already fixed in recent dev builds.
That's right. I wasn't able to reproduce it in today's development build of NetBeans 3.3 #200109050100.
Resolved for 3.4.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
