While performing "cvs commit", error: "cvs server: Unknown message for xml server ()" occurs. This is repeating till cvs killed. Surelly happens for me on cpplite's repository.
It's also happening on www module, so it seems to be global to the cvs.netbeans.org. NetBeans night build tried to update downloads page and produced 250 MB log file from cvs commit command before I killed it.

I have seen similar problem. http://www.netbeans.org/servlets/ReadMsg?msgId=141249&listName=nbdev
So, I have two questions: 1. Is known when this issue will be solved? 2. Is dangerous to commit (what the error mean in reality?). Could not commit cause some problem with repository?
Following our roll back of the fix applied to 13383, this error message should no longer occur. Please confirm.
I confirm that the message "cvs server: Unknown message for xml server ()", which was repeating in infinite loop, disappeared from cvs commits.
It works OK for me too.
Thank you for confirming. Changing status to resolved, fixed.
