The JavaFX Plugin for NetBeans should allow the developer to choose the various javaFX application containers that are
relevant for the platform on which the application is being deployed
Desktop – applet & JNLP
Mobile – Midlet
The developer can choose the appropriate profile (desktop, mobile,common etc) for which the application is being built.

This task depends on implementation of JavaFX Toolchain inside SDK. This Toolchain will be responsible for packaging.
NetBeans plugins will just delegate to the Toolchain.
