Yes, Jan and I have seen this before.  I'm not sure when I first noticed it, but 
it was at least a year ago.  The problem is the tooltip position for the 
selected node is right on top of the first menu item.  I'm not sure if it's been 
filed.  Maybe you should file it in issuezilla.
