Description Jaromir Uhrik 2008-08-06 15:43:31 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.5 Beta (Build 200808060301)
Java: 1.5.0_13; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_13-119
System: Mac OS X version 10.5.4 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb)

Steps to Reproduce:
===================
-Install OpenOffice.org API Plugin
-Go to NetBeans Options->Miscellaneous
-The name for the "OpenOffice.org API Plugin Settings" tab is too long and should be shortened (I recommend just
"OpenOffice"). If all tabs have so long names then the user may get disoriented.

Juergen, can you please fix this? Thanks a lot!
Comment 3 juergenschmidt 2008-08-06 15:52:30 UTC
agree that the name is too long. We had it already on our todo list. Because it is an UI change we didn't do it for
version 1.1.3 of the plugin. We will change it for the next version.

will "next version" be ready for 6.5 FCS?
Comment 6 juergenschmidt 2008-08-06 16:02:50 UTC
i don't know we develop the plugin currently independent from the release.

If it's an important issue. We can easy prepare a 1.1.4 version where it is fixed.
