That would be nice to be able to change the java platform that is used for new projects.
Currently the default is the platform used to run netbeans.
When your target platform is not the one you run netbeans with, it is quite annoying to have to change the java 
platform of every new project.

This is IMHO a simple feature that can enlighten the developer experience a bit.
