Description sunbiz 2008-07-22 13:13:34 UTC
[ BUILD # : 200807170007 ]
[ JDK VERSION : other ]

I've lately been trying to download new gems for a RubyOnRails
project and when the server is not working, Netbeans tries to
download the gems forever. If the internet connection is unavailable

or internet connection is slow, or the server is offline, Netbeans
should show a timeout or should show some message to continue
waiting.

I'm not sure if it happens with all kinds of internet updates or
internet downloads, but I seem to remember the same issue happened
with some other WSDL, where Netbeans kept waiting forever to download

something.

Good point, I'll check this.

Will add UI control for this. With new RubyGems (>1.2.0) one should hit this less).
