[ BUILD # : 200807101204 ] [ JDK VERSION : 1.6.0_05 ] There is 2 problems that I want to report. How to reproduce them: 1) Go to the plugin manager, and start to install a not-so-small plugin. In my case, I tried with the plugin named "Netbeans API Documentation", whose size is about 19Mb. 2) Press "Next", "Accept" the license, click on "Install", and while the plugin is been downloaded, press the "Cancel" button before the download is finished. Problem A: The table that lists the available plugins is filled of grayish disabled rows that can't be used anymore. This is a bug, there is no reason why I should not continue to use the plugin manager normally. Problem B: Now, if you close your IDE, it will restart automatically once .. without any real reason.
Reproducible, both issues. I will just add a detail to the problem B: You need to click "Cancel" button in the "Establishing connection" phase of the download (there are changing labels in the dialog) - which means "soon enough". If you wait a while and if you click Cancel when the download has already started, IDE is not restarted... The reason why reporter was able to capture this issue might be due to his distant location and thus slower connection and slower connection establishment. Petr D.
