Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200807100006) Java: 1.5.0_13; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_13-119 System: Mac OS X version 10.5.4 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb) The layout of main window is different compared to NetBeans 6.1 - scrollbars are missing when the window is shrinked so that then it is not possible to see the important parts on the right (this is big limitation for the users using low screen resolution. When shrinked and stretched the main window the toolbars appear each group in extra line. It is probably related to this issue. See attached screenshot...

That's strange, i didn't do anything with main window. Perhaps some Standa's recent changes? QE guys, could you find from which build it is broken?
I can't reproduce on my Linux any of these problems. Perhaps OS specific?
Jara is right - the horizontal toolbar is missing on the Start Page in comparison to 6.1. But I'm not sure if it is such a problem here. I do not see any usages for such a small Start Page. But toolbars are definitely an issue. It's because the *reset toolbars action does not work* when you resize the IDE to some minimal size and then resize it back to normal. You have to move manually at least one toolbar to bring this action back to life.
reassigning to Standa
i fixed the missing horizontal scrollbar in welcome page: 3ba139be1f9f the problem with toolbars is not a regression, that's how it 'works' in previous versions as well. i filed a separate issue for it: 139838
