Description Peter Lam 2008-07-10 03:40:26 UTC
build 20080709

- create a uml project
- create a class diagram
- create and name a design pattern
- create and name each of the 5 roles
- bind each of the roles to the design pattern
- open the design center (Alt+Shift+w)
- expand the design center node
- right click on Design Pattern Catalog and select New->Project
- enter a project name and use the default project location, press OK
- create a package named "pack1" in the project
- from the class diagram, right click on the design pattern and select Promote Design Pattern...
- from the dialog, select the design pattern project just created from the design center
- select the package "pack1" for namespace and press OK
Result: the design pattern should be promoted to the design pattern project
- from the design center, expand the project created above to the package "pack1"
- expand the design pattern just promoted the extra nodes with the same names as each of the roles are present under the
design pattern. See attached screenshot for this.
