-java EE distro, local installation of mysql server
-start IDE with fresh userdir using following command:

netbeans -J-Dnetbeans.hack.50423=true -J-Dcom.sun.aas.installRoot=/space/java/servers/glassfish --jdkhome
/space/java/sdk/jdk1.6.0_10/

=> see attached thread dumps - there are 4 threads having something to do with db code...

running "./netbeans" leads to the same issue. After killing the IDE and restarting it sampleDB (and maybe others)
becomes broken which is not surprising... :-(
