Hello, Today the autoupdate module has installed 2 updates (one of these is an update of the autoupdate module). After a restart a dialog box says there's a problem and the autoupdate module must be disabled... So now I have the autoupdate module and the plugin manager disabled... (No "plugins" entry in the "Tools" menu). How can I enable the plugin manager ?
I remember that the cause of the problem at restart was a module dependency problem...
Did you install NetBeans as root and then updated it as normal user? If yes, it may be the root cause of the problem. We have some problems with patch 2, see Issue 138450.
Exactly... I will check that.
Ok. I couldn't install the path (nmb file) without the plugin manager... I've uninstall/install completely Netbeans (and delete manualy all the configuration files, if it didn't work). then the update of 23 modules has proceeded smoothly (no patch required...)! Netbeans is installed as root and executed as user. Another time if a dialog box says me there's a problem with the autoupdate module, I'll cancel the update and rerun as root...
s/path/patch (sorry)
This problem was caused by core.startup module.
